How to Choose a Niche for Affiliate Marketing
Copyright © Jose Love
Nowadays everybody wants to earn in the most
convenient manner. Everyone seems to be looking for
the easiest way to get the extra bucks they would
need to fill in their increasing expenses. A lot of
us are asking how can we earn extra easily and
quickly. The answer is as simple as 2 words.
Affiliate marketing.
Affiliate marketing came about in the early stages of
the 20th century. It was like a little spec when it
started and it proved itself to be effective
therefore it expanded and now everybody seems to be
enjoying the benefits of affiliate marketing.
If you are just new to the industry you might be
asking yourself: What is affiliate marketing? Well,
derived from the word itself – affiliate marketing is
an affiliation between you and a certain company
that has this product or service they would like the
public to know about through the power of online
advertisement or promotion. Companies will gladly
pay certain individuals that could actually showcase
their goods online through blogs, articles or in any
manner that their products will be exposed.
Having this said, so what do you need in order to
plunge in to the world of affiliate marketing? To
tell you frankly, you might be surprised to know that
it really doesn’t require much. Aside from a decent
computer, you would just need an internet connection
and of course a bit of your time to this chosen
online business.
Where to start? Companies will gladly pay certain
individuals that could actually showcase their goods
online through blogs, articles or in any manner that
their products will be exposed. That being said, it
is obvious that you should have at least a website
online. The more traffic you have on that website –
the better.
Since affiliate marketing is an affiliation between
you and a certain company, their product or service
must be known to the public through online
advertisement or promotion. Let’s say you have at
least 5,000 visits a day in your website – that will
have a corresponding equivalent to your affiliate
marketing capability.
That being said, it is obvious that you should have
at least a website online. The more traffic you have
on that website – the better. Since affiliate
marketing is an affiliation between you and a
certain company, their product or service must be
known to the public through online advertisement or
promotion. Having this said, so what do you need in
order to plunge in to the world of affiliate
marketing?
To tell you frankly, you might be surprised to know
that it really doesn’t require much. Aside from a
decent computer, you would just need an internet
connection and of course a bit of your time to this
chosen online business. Companies will gladly pay

The more traffic you have on that website – the
better. Since affiliate marketing is an affiliation
between you and a certain company, their product or
service must be known to the public through online
advertisements or promotion. So if you want your
affiliate marketing to be successful, you need to
have an established website first then the rest will
follow.

7 Ways to Leave Comments and Drive Traffic Back to Your Blog
7 Ways to Leave Comments and Drive Traffic Back to Your Blog
Copyright © Jose Love
People say that to make an impression, you'll have to open your mouth. While that is physically impossible in the virtual world of the Internet, saying your piece is not entirely difficult to do. Thanks to forums and discussion boards, you can leave a comment or start a discussion thread about virtually any topic from anywhere in the world. And yes, you can even leave comments to drive traffic to your blog and increase your readership.
Leaving effective comments
You're probably old enough to know that not every comment that gets thrown into an opportunity for interaction creates the desired effect, much less become
appreciated by those who hear or read it. If you don't use this technique carefully, you will either waste the opportunity or simply allow it to create the wrong impression.
Here are 7 ways you ought to do it:
Choose the sites you leave comments on
Ever wondered why Tiger Woods is great? Because he chooses his battles well. You'll never find Woods swinging his club at a lesser known tournament – not because he's a snob but because he focuses on the games that truly matter and on being on equal ground with other greats.
Keep this in mind before you leave comments on a website. Just because you have the burning need to drive traffic to your blog doesn’t mean you can just drop by a site – any site – and write there.
Choose the sites and blogs whose forums you participate with. Find out if the site deals with a topic or subject related to your very own blog. Practice only purposeful commenting – the kind where you leave only well-crafted comments on sites that will help build the buzz about your blog.
If the site is completely irrelevant but you have the urge to leave a comment, do so only during your spare time. Otherwise, focus your energies only on more productive activities.
Know what you're saying
Before you leave a comment with the purpose of driving traffic to your blog, at least write one that is useful. Your goal is to be noticed AND respected for your opinions so leaving useless and dead end comments such as 'Cool!' and 'Way to go!' just won't cut it.
If this is the best you can do, forget about leaving comments right now and focus on other strategies to drive traffic to your blog. Better avoid this technique than be embarrassed or be viewed as lame or mediocre.
But if you can write and have something meaningful to say, by all means, do so. With every comment you have, make sure you keep it short, concise, to the point and useful. Talk about relevant topics and avoid those that will do nothing for your purpose.
Avoid strong language
Of course, some sites will probably allow you to leave comments that are strongly worded or at least camouflaged as symbols such as !#$%&*, but there are ways to get your point across, regardless of how angry, upset or argumentative you are.
Furthermore, majority of sites and blogs impose certain regulations that restrict the use of certain words. Try to rephrase a sentence without losing its main thought. Use an online thesaurus, if necessary. Remember that once a comment is posted online, there's no way to get it back especially if it's not your site. You can leave that comment there to rot but you can never take it back.
Do not be rude
Have a sense of humor. The Internet is a vast expanse of space, currently limitless. In fact, it's a whole universe unto itself. If people leave comments on your post that seem to insult you or argue with you, don't fight back without thinking.
First of all, we are a democracy and people have every right to their own opinion. Second, firing back with the same kind of idiotic language will not be a good reflection on you. Third, you're way better than that. If you must defend your stand, do so with class.
Calm down
Please, if you must drive traffic to your blog by leaving comments on other websites, keep it professional and tone it down. DON'T LEAVE MESSAGES LIKE THIS ONE!!!!!!
A good rule of thumb is to follow accepted structure of the English language or whatever language it is you're using to post. If you must use exclamatory
points, make sure they are truly needed. Otherwise, avoid them.
Leaving comments written in purely bold or capitalized letter smacks of desperation and lack of professionalism. It's hard-selling and makes people stay away in
droves.
Check replies to your blogs
Maximize commenting on other sites and drive traffic by frequently checking back on the forum you participated in to see if there are any replies to the post you left. This is a good way to build buzz and network.
Check your facts
If you will be quoting someone or citing a certain study, make sure your facts can be corroborated. Don't use make believe or newly invented figures and statements or even half-truths and try to pass them off as legit. You will be exposed. If you want to drive traffic to your blog by leaving comments, make sure you don't tarnish your reputation with the effort.

Reasons Why Leaving Spam Comments is NOT the Way to Promote Your Blog
Reasons Why Leaving Spam Comments is NOT the Way to Promote Your Blog
Copyright © Jose Love
There are basically three words that can describe spam accurately: desperate, manipulative, evil. While that may sound like the resume of some soap opera
villain, it rings true for every one of us who have ever been burned by spam.
Spam is an example of why sometimes, the means does not justify the end.
True, the aim is to build buzz for your blog but the technique used is just plain wrong. If you're planning on leaving spam comments on other websites any
time soon, know that it's not the way to promote your blog. On the contrary, you might even do damage to your blog without knowing it.
Understanding spam comments
Spam comments started sprouting their evil seed when online guestbooks began appearing on websites. Unscrupulous site owners and marketers bombarded these
guestbooks with links (many even used purely links) back to the spammers' websites. If any comment is included at all, it may contain highly generic ones
such as 'cool post' or 'great website' or 'nice page'.
Spam appears in just about anything these days, including blogs, often in the form of a comment. How this is done is quite simple. Any blogger who wishes
to promote his blog can simply write down keyword-heavy texts in the guise of a comment and then post it at random on another blog or website. Sites that
allow hyperlinks to be displayed are usually the prime targets.
The problem here is that this type of commenting is not purposeful at all. It's done at random, similar to throwing darts at a huge dartboard while wearing
a blindfold in the hopes of hitting something, anything.
Why spam commenting will not work for you
Leaving spam comments to promote your blog may seem tempting enough but it's best to avoid it. That is, if you want to be taken seriously and see your blog last long enough for your grandchildren to appreciate. Here are reasons why leaving spam comments to promote your blog are NOT the way to go:
You're being watched
These days, you spam someone once and you'll be branded for life. Or at least the blog or business you're trying to promote will be. The CAN-SPAM Act of 2003 makes sure spam is controlled and no one can wave it around like a weapon.
Becoming associated with spam is bad news for your blog. People hate spam… period. They will be more than happy to report you to your host provider or even your affiliate companies and avoid your blog altogether. And yes, Akismet and a host of other plug-ins designed to fight spam will be watching.
You will be penalized
By leaving spam comments on another website with the sole purpose of promoting your blog, you give that website's owner the permission to become a witness against you. Your host provider will cut off ties with you and if you're using your blog to promote an affiliate's products, even your affiliate will drop you.
Should this happen, you will have to start all over again, from square one, with a tarnished reputation. If you leave more spam comments in the future, you'll only be repeating the cycle all over again, all to your detriment.
You'll be seen as unprofessional
Leaving spam comments to promote a blog is for the lazy, the uninformed and the desperate. Why else would you use a technique that is generally viewed as
unsavory? If you're unprofessional, your visitors will find it difficult to trust you ever again.
You'll be violating certain unwritten codes
The reason why comments are allowed in websites is to provide people a platform with which to interact. Blogs, forums and discussion boards are large meeting places, open to people regardless of their age, sex, location or personal beliefs, with the implicit agreement that those who participate will be respected for their beliefs.
By leaving spam comments on these sites mainly to promote your blog, you break this code of trust.
Leaving spam comments can increase your blog's ranking... artificially
Although an artificial increase in ranking can mean good news for your blog (it will allow your site to appear high in search engine rankings), this is only an initial effect, sort of like anesthesia. Soon, it will wear off.
This is particularly true if your blog has nothing else to offer. Visitors who have been driven to your blog through search engine links (which you were
able to achieve artificially) will sniff around your site and if they find nothing there, they'll leave soon enough, never to come back.
Worse, word might even get around that your website is filled with nothing but air. If you must promote your blog this way, make sure you have the content
to make visitors stay.

Using Tags to Get More Traffic to Your Blog through Blog Directories
Using Tags to Get More Traffic to Your Blog through Blog Directories
Copyright © Jose Love
Tags are generally ignored by site owners and bloggers in terms of potential. They're small, for one and very often easy to overlook. Furthermore, those
who do not understand their use or significance or at least why and how they work may not often appreciate their value. This is unfortunate because tags can help increase the traffic coming in to your blog from blog directories. Learn what tags are and how they work so you can maximize their use.
Tag – you're it
A tag, also referred to as a meta tag, is a keyword that is used to label specific information found on a web page. A meta tag uses HTML tags that are
hidden from plain sight but clearly 'visible' to web crawlers.
A tag functions mainly for identification of an article, for example, or a title, subheading, site description or image – hence the name 'tag'. They are often used as tools to ping multiple search engines, create a presence for use in social bookmarking and to drive traffic to your site, especially your blog.
With tags, it will be easier for your site, article or web page to be found in search engines where they are supported.
Put simply, a tag is a small piece of identification on your blog that informs a search engine bot or spider what your site is about and how it should be
indexed. If you can choose and design the right combination of tags for your blog, you will be able to manipulate the number and type of traffic that reaches your site from blog directories legally.
Using tags on your blog to drive more traffic
Blog directories are repositories of information and news regarding the types of blogs available for a particular topic or subject. As such, they can be very useful sources of highly targeted traffic for your own blog. To maximize the use of blog directories for this purpose, consider doing the following:
Choose your words carefully
Keep in mind that your blog is just one of millions out there vying for attention. Even if you're trying to build a reputation within a relatively smaller
niche industry, you will still be competing with at least a dozen others in your market segment. Careful consideration in choosing the specific keywords (or
tags) to use with your blog will help you stand out in blog directories.
There are three important tags that you should focus on when designing your blog for traffic increase from blog directories. These are the title tag, the description tag and the keyword/s tag.
The title tag. The title of each blog entry you have should contain the most essential keywords that appear in your write-up or are relevant to your
content. This will help optimize your entry and make it easier for search engines to find and index.
Prospective visitors who perform a search using Google, Yahoo! or MSN Search, for example, will be able to reach an optimized blog, since it's more likely to
appear in a search engine list. As a result, you drive more traffic to your blog.
The description tag. Although description tags are ignored by some search engines, adding this to your blog can help influence how your blog (or at least its web pages) is described.
The keyword tag. The keyword tag is the word or phrase that you will repeat within the content body or web page in question. Used strategically, these keywords can help increase your blog's results in search engines and bring in more traffic to your site by allowing visitors to easily find you.
Don't be afraid to combine keywords, though. That's how you will be able to create highly targeted key phrases to optimize your blog. Three- to four-word key phrases will do. Multiple word tags are advantageous to single word searches as well. If you use a keyword phrase tag that says 'rock paper scissors',
for example, your blog still has the potential to show up in case someone uses only the word 'rock' or 'paper' in his search.
Don't overdo the use of tags
If you don't watch out, tags can be addictive. It could reach a point where you might find yourself using tags that have little relevance to your blog.
This usually happens when you try too hard to make sure that your blog or web page appears in more listings.
Although it may seem like a good idea to help increase traffic to your blog particularly as a means to shine in blog directories, overuse of tags can be
counter-productive. Try to be careful in choosing only the kind of tags that your blog truly needs. Leaner but highly targeted tags are much more effective
than generic ones.
Follow through
A good tag can gain initial interest in your blog and increase traffic coming from blog directories. However, it can only do so much. Now that traffic is
beating at your door, you should be able to throw a real party thereafter. Make sure that the content associated with your tag/s is well worth your visitor's click. It should offer specific information for a specific purpose and should include the content that you so readily promised in your links.
Otherwise, you won't earn the trust of a loyal readership or following. A baited title that lacks the backing of useful content will be viewed as a cheap trick and won't earn you a lot of respect – or traffic.

Do's and Don'ts for Reciprocating Traffic to Promote Your Blog
Do's and Don'ts for Reciprocating Traffic to Promote Your Blog
Copyright © Jose Love
Some mockingly call it as the mutual admiration society and wherein people praise – and link to – each other in order to generate traffic. No matter how you look at it, reciprocating traffic works not just for promoting websites but blogs as well. Here are several dos and don’ts to take note of if you’re in the mood for sharing some love with your fellow bloggers.
How to Reciprocate Traffic for Blog Promotion
Reciprocating is easier than you think. You just have to take note of what other bloggers are doing for you and return the favor. Of course, you can also consider initiating things by being the first to post a comment, include a link in your directory, respond with a blog entry, or review another blog.
As long as what you’re doing places focus on you and the other blogger, you’re doing the right thing!
Make your reciprocation valuable
If you are going to reciprocate a favor, be sure to make it valuable and meaningful for the other blogger. It would simply be a waste of web space if all you’re going to say is hi and goodbye. If that’s what you’re going to do, it’s best not to reciprocate at all.
To make reciprocation valuable, consider which areas you can make the greatest contributions – pages which, even better, the other blogger would appreciate
to gain more traffic for. Look for questions that coincide with your fields of expertise.
Make it mutually beneficial
Reciprocity is not merely an exchange of links. It also includes mutual acknowledgment – and maybe even recommendation – of each other’s expertise. When you
post a comment or display a link in your website, make sure that the information you provide not only reflects positively on the other blogger but on yourself as well.
Pay attention to house rules
Reciprocation means visiting another person’s blog and as they say, when in Rome, it’s important to do as the Romans do. Every blog has its own set of house
rules and you must pay attention to them. One example of house rules is the inclusion of links in your comments. Some bloggers prefer not to have any links displayed without their express permission.
Acts of rudeness commonly result from simple misunderstanding and ignorance of rules. If you’re unsure about your statement, you can always email the other blogger and ask for confirmation as to whether your reply is adequate or not.
Don’t be condescending
It’s easy to be so without even being aware of it. When you are visiting a blog that’s less popular than yours, don’t act or speak in such a way that you’ve
made it very clear to everyone the other blogger should be grateful for you little act of reciprocation. That’s a big no-no to do, and you’re sure to receive
unpleasant feedback even if it’s true. Such things are better left unsaid.
Always return the favor
Last but not the least, remember to return every favor you receive! This is the golden rule of all golden rules and to violate once or several times is
something that no Internet marketer forgets. Soon, tales of your infamy will spread and you shouldn’t be surprised if the popularity of your blog starts declining.
Regardless of how much or how little you’ll benefit from reciprocating the favor, do it anyway. It’s called good business!

Say No to Forum Spamming
Say No to Forum Spamming
Copyright © Jose Love
When you are speaking with children, repeating yourself may sometimes be the key to getting yourself heard and understood. But you’re not speaking to children when you’re posting the same message over and over in forums, are you? Since you’re not, isn’t it safe to conclude that such tactics won’t work?
Worse, they can even backfire on you! Here are five good reasons to avoid spamming in forums.
It Annoys Moderators
Spamming is considered a blackhat SEO technique, and most, if not all, forum moderators do not tolerate it. Other forum members are sure to report you and
when a moderator finally takes notice, you’ll certainly have your membership suspended if not revoked immediately and permanently.
There are several reasons why spamming will annoy moderators. Firstly, it’s
their job to keep other members happy and what you’re doing is the opposite.
You are, therefore, giving them extra trouble to deal with. Secondly, spamming consumes web space and web space costs money. Spamming also makes use of
bandwidth, and that costs money, too. By spamming, you are forcing moderators to spend money on something they don’t consider acceptable.
It Irritates Other Members
Again, there are plenty reasons why forum members aren’t happy with your spamming. First of all, these people consider your messages a waste of time. By posting the same message over and over, you force them to spend precious seconds on just scrolling the window until they reach a message that you haven’t posted.
You also make back reading difficult for them. Instead of being able to read all the information they need from one page, you force them to load a new one just to get to the next important message.
Once members realize that you are knowingly practicing spamming, they won’t take your actions lying down. Besides reporting you to moderators, they can also submit your name to concerned agencies that are against unlawful and undesirable Internet marketing tactics. They can also spread the word about your not-so -nice marketing techniques and before you know it, you’ll be banned from every forum in the Internet.
It Doesn’t Work
Adults are different from children. They’re already smart and mature enough to understand a simple lesson at the first try. Repeating the same message over
and over, as it is, is unnecessary.
Now, if you’re practicing spamming in hopes of convincing people to try out your product or service, you’re going about the wrong way, too. To convince a person, repetition is not needed. Instead, you need to give people different reasons to change their minds. The more reasons you give them, the greater chances you’ll
have of convincing them to see things your way. But if you stubbornly sticking
to one reason then you’ll achieve nothing.
Forum Marketing Strategies to Replace Spamming
You should be convinced by now of the utter futility of spamming in forums. Don’t wait till your online business collapse before you decide to change your ways. Use
a different – not to mention legitimate – technique now and you won’t regret it.
To help you get started, consider providing valuable contribution that showcases your expertise. Choose questions that you can answer as an “expert”. Get to know other people in the forum and build relationships with them. Post your link in your profile page and signature. Last but not the least, use a cool username to get more attention!

Blog Promotion through Email Groups
Blog Promotion through Email Groups
Copyright © Jose Love
Email groups are important targets for your promotions, and gaining their support can go a long way in increasing the popularity of your blog.
Major Sample of Your Target Market
Email groups are created on the basis of shared interests or any other common factor. Email groups may be composed of people with the same hobby, living in the same area, or with the same occupation.
Whatever the reason an email group had for establishing itself, what’s important is for you to determine whether they can match the profile of your target market. When it does, getting the group hooked to your blog instantly lets you kill several birds with just one click!
Unified Response
Another great thing about tapping on email groups is the kind of relationships members have with each other and how group decisions are made. In email groups,
there is always a clear distinction between moderators and ordinary members. When moderators make a decision, members almost always automatically perform a similar action.
If you can manage to convince the moderators of the email group to visit your blog and maybe even link to it, you can expect the members to promote your blog as well. Convince the one that matters and you win all!
Variety
As we’ve mentioned earlier on, email groups are established for varying reasons. It is unlikely, therefore, that you won’ find any email group matching the description of your target market. As such, you should take the time to browse through email group directories. Pay attention to the information they’ve provided for their group and you’ll know whether they’re likely to be interested in your blog or not.
How to Tap on Email Groups
Now that you’re aware of the importance of email groups, here are a few tips to effectively promote your blog through them.
Join the Group
Your messages will be welcomed more warmly if you join their group first. To do so, you’ll usually need a valid email address, pass their security test, and maybe explain your reason for joining.
While it’s always good to be candid, it wouldn’t hurt to mention any other reason you may have besides wanting a chance to promote your blog. If you’re stuck for a reason, try thinking of yourself as an ordinary member instead. Think of the benefits you’ll enjoy from joining the group and make sure to mention that.
Know the rules
Every email group has rules for members to follow. Make sure you learn these carefully so that you avoid unknowingly violating any of their rules. Abiding by
them as you start posting your messages to the group is sure to endear yourself to other members as well.
Introduce yourself
Before posting any message, it’s important to introduce yourself to other members. Remember to thank them for letting you join their group and take the time to get to know them as well. Introducing yourself is a great way to direct the conversation to your blog and from there, you’ll able to start on your marketing plan.
Return the favor
Last but not the least, remember to return the favor. If the email groups you’ve joined are working hard to promote your blog, you should return the favor and
promote them as well. Doing that is good karma, and that’s never bad for your business!

Comment Posting: A Power Blog Promoting Technique
Comment Posting: A Power Blog Promoting Technique
Copyright © Jose Love
You keep on hearing bloggers marvel about the wonderful benefits of leaving comments on other blogs but you’ve yet to try the tactic yourself. If you still aren’t sure about the wisdom of following their steps, here are a few reasons that could convince you to take that final step.
Show Your Expertise
Everyone prefers to listen to an expert than an amateur. With an expert’s advice, you spend your time wisely and get to learn something in return.
Unfortunately, there isn’t always an opportunity to show your expertise.
As such, you have to create the opportunity for yourself once in a while and you can do that by leaving comments on other people’s blogs. Try spending a few minutes visiting other people’s blogs. Go around the blogging community, and once you’ve found some questions you’re very much in the position to answer, go ahead and share your wisdom.
Giving advice whenever it’s solicited is so much better than bragging, don’t you think?
Show Your Charm, Eloquence, and Wit
People can be terribly greedy. To please them, you not only have to be intelligent but you have to be articulate and witty, too. If you had a choice between
visiting the blog of an extremely smart but humorless Internet marketer and one who’s moderately smart but witty, which blog would you choose? Many would choose the latter, don’t you think?
Now that you know what’s demanded of you, the next thing to do is determine how to prove that you indeed have all those great qualities. Again, you do that by leaving comments on other people’s blogs.
It’s very important not to overdo your bit when you’re out to display your wit. While providing excessive information can be seen as simply being detailed, being too funny could make other people you’re trying too hard to be so.
There’s a right time, place, and reason to be funny. Make sure you know when such moments occur!
Reciprocate
If other people left comments on your blogs, you owe it them to return the favor. Technically, you’re not obliged to do so but good business dictates reciprocity. And it’s really not that bad. Leaving comments on each other’s blog regularly will soon lead to link exchanges, another factor that can generate more traffic for your respective blogs.
If you continue to nurture your partnership after that, it can lead to even greater collaborations that would benefit both of you.
How to Make Your Comments Effective for Internet Marketing
All three reasons below are able to achieve the same goal: catch your target market’s attention and make them visit your blog. To increase your chances of success, you must make sure that your comments follow the tips below.
Write courteously
Remember the usual rules of courtesy when you’re posting a comment on someone else’s blog.
Don’t be argumentative
Not everyone welcomes a debate so if you truly believe that there’s a need for you to propose an opposing view, make sure you do so politely and be very clear in saying that you only wish to expression your opinion and nothing else.
Don’t forget to link
Lastly, remember to provide a link to your blog whenever you leave a comment. This may be standard procedure but a lot of first-time bloggers still end up forgetting to do so. If you don’t want to risk losing any opportunity, never forget to post your link!

Top Blog Directories to Submit Your Blog to
Top Blog Directories to Submit Your Blog to
Copyright © Jose Love
If you have a blog, then you can count yourself among
the thousands of other people on earth who have a
blog, who can sell their products and services
online, and who find ways to network through friends,
former classmates, relatives, even acquaintances, in
order to make more money. There are thousands upon
thousands of blogs on the Internet right now, and you
will need to shine through the muddle of language,
or, at the very least, be known to a few well enough
in whatever niche you choose to place yourself.
One way for you to establish your audience is to
actually have a niche that you proclaim yourself to
be in, and one way for you to do this is to place
your blog address in a blog directory. You also have
the pick of the litter: you are not limited to
placing your blog in a single directory, which is
advantageous if you consider how these blog
directories have their own audiences whom you might
lose if you aren’t meticulous enough.
If you are interested in submitting your blog to a
blog directory, make sure that your blog is ready for
the viewing. Do not simply place your blog address
and then expect people to read half-baked essays,
poor stories, or no entries at all. Have a lot of
good content to welcome your new and current readers.
Moreover, be aware of exactly what keywords your blog
will have.
This means that you will have to go through your
content, and then evaluate what keywords to use, so
that you can properly categorize your blog and then
provide the right keywords if the blog directory
service asks for it.
Here are some blog directories that you may want to
consider when you are finally ready to sign your blog
up.
1. Blog Catalog (http://www.blogcatalog.com) allows
you to not only place your blog into a category. It
also shows which categories are the most popular, so
that you can be better guided as to what market has
the biggest readers. Through blog catalog, you can
join discussions and form or join groups.
2. At Blog Hub (http://www.bloghub.com), you can add
your blog and chat at a forum, chat with your fellow
bloggers, and get news on affordable web hosting
services, as well as other articles that might be of
interest to you. Blog hub also offers information on
how to use services to monetize your blog.
3. You can also add your blog to the directory at
Blog Hint (http://www.bloghints.com), where you can
view the latest blogs added, the most popular, and
the highest rated. Blog Hints will even suggest a
category for your blog, and you can access some
Wordpress themes if you are using that service. There
are many different blogs in this directory that you
can search through. The blogs are also arranged in
folders that are readily visible on the front page of
the site.
4. At Blogging Fusion (http://www.bloggingfusion.com)
you can also readily view the available categories,
and you can even get your blog featured. There are
also available blog ratings systems and popular blogs
lists for you to browse.
5. Another directory is Blog Flux
(http://dir.blogflux.com) where you can look through
an alphabetical directory, see featured blogs, and
see the latest updates to blogs listed in the
directory.

How to Use Forums to Promote Your Blog
How to Use Forums to Promote Your Blog
Copyright © Jose Love
Having a blog is a great thing: you can promote your products and services and get a lot of attention for your business; you can promote your work, whether as a painter, photographer, or writer, and maybe even get a job related to the things that you love; or you can simply express yourself and even update your relatives and friends on the goings-on in your life, which can be great if you live in a faraway place and cannot update your relatives and friends more than once.
However, a blog can also be a good way for you to earn money, over and above mere expression and promotion.
Thanks to a lot of different online money-earning methods, you can earn commissions when visitors go to your blog. For instance, you can put up advertisements on your site through an affiliate network or through an advertising program. If one of your visitors clicks on your ads, then you get commissions. The ads are tailored to fit the contents of your website, and they are made so that your visitors will most likely be interested in them and thereby click on them. Therefore, you need to have good website content, as this is what the ad companies need in order to know what kind of ads to place on your site.
Moreover, the more visitors you have, the greater the chance that someone will click on your ads and that you will get commissions.
This means that you need to invite more and more people to your blog, and not just to get money, but to get attention. After all, if your blog is interesting enough, you may get a lot of people linking to you. One way that you can promote your blog is through posting on forums.
If you are interested in posting in forums and getting your voice heard, and if you want to get your blog noticed in the Internet universe, then you may be interested in the following tips. Take note, however, that these are only a few tips to guide you on your way to blog superstardom, and you need to learn on your own along the way and pick up your own lessons, too.
- Post in a forum that you are actually interested in. Believe it or not, the degree of your understanding of and interest in a topic in a forum will shine through your post. If people see that you are interested in the forum topic, then you may get more attention than people just reading your forum post.
- Post in a forum whose topic is related to your blogging topic. This can be critical when you are dealing with die-hard fans of a certain artist or film, because posting off-topic posts in a forum concentrated with users who have a single interest and aim can be distracting, not to mention grounds for kicking you out of the forum.
- Be dignified enough to spell right. Text shortcuts can make texts almost unreadable, and you can annoy a whole lot more people. If you make the effort to write in your blog, make an effort to write well on the forums, or you may find it harder to invite people to read your blog. Why should they read your blog when they can’t even understand what you are posting on the forum?
- Extend help to other forum members when they need it. Remember, people do not care about what you have to say until they find out that you care about them first.

Web Video Conferencing in the New Millennium
Web Video Conferencing in the New Millennium
Copyright © Jose Love
Are you in need of something that can boost your business by more than half and still be able to save on the cost of production? Do you want to be able to monitor your factories and met with your staff on a regular basis though you are miles away from corporate? Web videoconferencing allows you to work on these things without having to worry about cost and impact on the business.
All that you need to do is just a website away. The need for expensive equipment has also been taken away since all the equipment you would need is inside the Internet and all of it is waiting for you. So let’s start web videoconferencing.
So how exactly does web videoconferencing works? Well, like the name suggests its videoconferencing through the web or the Internet. A participant needs a computer to start off and Internet access. Basically that’s all you need. Other things that may or may not be necessary are web cams, web conferencing software and a website to conduct the virtual meeting. Usually websites may refer to URL’s that act as the conference room for the meeting.
There are different kinds of web videoconferencing and different kinds of purposes. First one is the web meeting (web videoconferencing), this usual kind of web conference that let’s participants interact in a controlled Internet environment. Usually CEO’s and business executives have web meetings when they are out of town and on business. Not only can they visit their site often they can keep close tabs on people. Usually Web conferencing allow people on the go to keep up with the requirements of the office.
Live video is another kind of conferencing over the Internet or what young people call video chat. live video or video chat is just like text chatting only
it’s done through the web cam. Just like web video conferencing live video is more or less like it in purpose and setup. While web videoconferencing uses
software to support the video format of the live video this is because of the limited number of formats that can be streamed over the web.
Another kind of web conferencing tool is VOIP or Voice over the Internet Phone. The concept of VOIP is no longer new to us. Some people have started using
VoIP software and sites as their primary phone for business, personal and technology use. Because of it’s virtual endless capacity to call inside and outside
countries and not to mention computer call functionality.
That means even without a regular or mobile phone people can communicate anytime anywhere. Now if you apply that to whatever your web videoconferencing needs
that you have, you are sure to get your money’s worth.
And lastly a dedicated Internet website that would cater to all the web conferencing needs that you have. As the name mentions it is a dedicated server that acts as the conference room of your company and a gateway for all other video conferencing you will have even outside the company.
Since this is a new tool for your company to use in it’s quest to become one of the best in the world, it would be wise to master all the requirements and the processes of web videoconferencing to reap the best results from it.

What Is Video Conferencing
What Is Video Conferencing
Copyright © Jose Love
When you call for a conference, everyone is expected to arrive at a designed time and place to discuss an issue and resolve it. But if the people you need to speak with are in different states or countries and those cost of getting them to come is quite expensive, you have to try something else like video conferencing.
But first, what is video conferencing? Basically, this is a system that allows you to conduct meetings or trainings in different places simultaneously. It incorporates audio, video so you are able to talk and send data which takes away the barrier of distance that separates these individuals.
To make video conferencing possible, you need to buy the equipment. You also have to choose the method of transmission because the one you might be using may not be compatible with the other person.
These include the Codec unit, the camera, microphone, video display, network connection, stands and equipment charts if these will be mobile or stationary, NT-1 and chicken feet.
Most of these are self-explanatory so we will just focus on the Codec, NT-1 and chicken feet.
The Codec is considered to be the “brain and heart” of the video conference system. This is what compresses everything so you can send and receive messages on real time which can be viewed on the display device.
The NT-1 on the other hand is an electronic device otherwise called an terminal adapter that converts ISDN to your IP format. There is also the NT-3 version so instead of using one line, you will be able to use three.
The chicken feet also known as acoustic echo cancellers are equipment that is usually hung from the ceiling.
Basically, what this does it’s add both clarity and depth to the resonant frequency response of your audio sub system.
But the most important which you have to understand is the network connection. There are two protocols namely the H.320 and the H.323. If the one you are talking with is using a different one, it will be impossible for you to talk with one another because while the first uses ISDN lines the latter which is much simpler uses IP lines
similar to what you use to browse the web.
The good news is that you can still talk to the person on the other end using the older system by using a bridge that is able to handle these mixed protocols.
The advantage of the new system is that you can transmit for multiple uses when the old one can only handle one.
The newer version is also cheaper and faster so you get to talk in real time.
How much will you have to spend to get your video conferencing system up and running? Personal users will spend less than $500 while corporations could spend $100,000 or even more. You just have to shop around and see which one is able to fit your needs so you get value for your money.
The video conferencing system of today is one of the highlights of living in the digital age. No longer do we have to send a message and wait for awhile to get a response when you can get a reply right then and there which increases productivity and saves time and resources.

Apply Online For A Low Interest Business Credit Card
Apply Online For A Low Interest Business Credit Card
Copyright © Jose Love
Business credit cards are the trend in many small business enterprises worldwide. You can easily apply online for a low interest business credit card at the convenience of your own home or business, without resorting to visiting different financial institutions on foot.
Many small enterprises are now using a business credit card to be used in their venture. Considering the reduced APR and possibly zero annual fee on these cards, you can make a lot of purchases without worrying about additional expenses. This is quite handy if you are planning to cut down on business related expenditures and improving
profit.
Since the risks of business are much higher compared to personal ones, business credit cards may have a higher interest rate as compared to the latter. Even with such interest expense, many are still opting for its use considering the practicality of use and benefits they can get from it.
Online research
Applying for a low interest business credit card might sound easy at first, but it may be a daunting task if it’s your first time. You need to do research on different online financial companies that offer these cards, and find out which ones have the lowest interest rate attached to it, as well as other charges.
When you are searching for a zero APR business credit card, you might try searching for those with the lowest balance transfer fees, lowest ongoing fees, additional charges, penalties, and a low interest rate as well.
Another way of searching for business credit cards online is to look for special offers that come with the service, such as waived interest fees for a certain period of time. This will come in handy if you are planning to start your business using a credit card as capital. You can purchase stocks to meet consumer demands, office supplies and equipments, and so on; without the interest expense for a few months.
Some business credit cards have flyer miles as one of its incentives. If you plan to go somewhere for a vacation or for business-related events, you can use the flyer miles that you’ve accumulated using the points you get from your business credit card.
Other financial institutions also offers cash returns based on the percentage of the purchases made using the credit card. This is practically one of the best offers you should look out for when you apply online.
Handy advice
When you apply online for a business credit card, it is a sound advice to not limit yourself with one or two financial companies. You have to make sure that you get the best deals, as well as the incentives and benefits attached with one.
Next, you have to make sure that you have a good status on your business credit rating so your application can be approved in a shorter amount of time (and being qualified for one).
You need to get your business and financial documents at the ready, since the company might require you to fax it to them to process your application. These documents involve business permits and licenses as proof of the validity of your enterprise.
Others might ask you to submit financial statements of your venture like income statements, balance sheets, tax documents, and so on; make sure you have these ready, just in case.

Sponsor a Child – Save a Life
Sponsor a Child – Save a Life
Copyright © Jose Love
Just as sponsorship is basely defined as a marketing tool for organizational or individual support; so is ‘child sponsorship’ denoted as a means to aid a young individual, usually through financial and/or educational sustenance.
The children who need assistance are usually from ‘developing countries’ which, as most often is, lack the proper resources to sustain proper living. Some of the top countries that benefit from child sponsorship include Africa, India, Afghanistan, Indonesia, and Vietnam.
It is not, however, only the developing countries that receive child sponsorship, but also those of develop ones.
Even powerhouses such as the United States have children support organizations that help out the young through means of donation. This denotes the diversity and span in which sponsoring children and young adults are applied.
Saving Lives
There are basically two ways in sponsoring the young – either through individual or organizational means. As individuals, this is directly giving out help to those who are in need of it. As organizations, there are specific
institutions that act as the ‘bridge’ for sponsors and child sponsees, where they find the best possible candidates for support and most efficiently utilize the ‘help’ donated by sponsors.
But how does this sponsorship save lives? The number of ways in which this kind of support assists in the improvement of living and prevents loss of life is beyond counting. In developing countries, areas that have been witness of war, economic ruin, political turmoil, natural disasters, and oppression (most often girls and women) – the donations that are given address these issues and focused on the improvement of a child’s life.
In more specific ways, individuals and organizations work with the family of the child and other community members to develop the ability of that community to ‘take care’ of itself. The child that is given assistance benefits from programs that enable him/her to attend and succeed at school, provide needed medical care and orientation in hygienic living.
Child sponsorship not only helps the children, but their family as well. Families are given the knowledge on how to improve their lives by economic programs that provide parent trainings which teach them how to properly support themselves and their children. These programs are most often through proper child sponsorship organizations. Some organizations that practice these applications of programs are Save the Children, UNICEF, and Food for the Hungry.
The Sponsor’s Role as Hero
Of course when one helps another, it is always a two-way effect. The one helped and the helper, although in different manners, are affected. Sponsors have the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of children by giving out support.
A very important point to understand that the assistance given, whether financial or otherwise, is not only a physical act on economical or community improvement. In its core, child sponsorship is giving hope to those who need it. It is letting the community and the children involved know that they have a chance in living a good life.
This point is essentially the most important gift that sponsors (most often unconsciously) give.
As the chain reaction of giving leads to saving lives, sponsors become heroes in the sense that they have helped.
Their assistance, however meager, provided the chance for life improvement by allowing the children and communities involved the access to opportunities they’ve never had.

Understanding Your Credit Report Score
Understanding Your Credit Report Score
Copyright © Jose Love
Understanding your credit score is important since it may help you determine your chances of being approved on your credit applications. Your credit reports score usually will help lenders and credit institutions to determine if you are good enough for credit that you have applied for. Lenders would need to be ensured that people they lend money to are able to pay back their loans. That is the purpose of a person's credit report.
When a person applies for a personal loan or mortgage on their homes, lenders would usually check upon a person's credit history to see if one is a good borrower in that he or she pays back on credit dues on time.
A person's credit history would help lenders determine the risk of that they put themselves in when approving a person's credit. In a way, credit institutions are trying to protect their own investments (in terms of handing out credit) by checking out a prospective borrower's credit report score.
In essence, a person's credit report is part of the lender's background check. It is a detailed history of a person's borrowing habits. From it, lenders are able to extract the following information about the credit applicant:
• It provides a person's identifying information such as one's complete name, past and current addresses, date of birth as well as a person's employment history
• A record of accounts that previous lenders have submitted to who the individual has loaned from in the past. This record includes the type of credit extended (mortgage, credit card, car loan, etc.), the amount of credit, the date when it was opened and a record of payments already made as well as the remaining balance.
• A record of inquiries made on the credit report for a period of two years. This includes voluntary inquiries made for previous credit applications as well as involuntary inquiries made by the lender without the knowledge of the credit report holder.
• A collection of information of state and country court records associated with previous loans made. The credit report also includes recorded information about previous bankruptcies, lawsuits, foreclosure of properties, liens and other judgments that can be attributed to previous loans made.
When availing of the credit report, the lender or credit institution may also get hold of a person's credit score.
A credit score is calculated based on the information that is provided by the credit report. This is usually done by credit reporting agencies that consider the information and provide the necessary score to help lenders better assess your future credit risk level.
Your credit score is also being more commonly referred to your FICO score. The reason for this is because most of the credit scores are calculated using a software developed by the Fair Isaac Corporation, also known as FICO. Your FICO score can range from 300 to 850. The higher your FICO score figures, the lower your credit risk is perceived by lenders, thereby giving you better chances of being approved for credit.
Understanding your credit reports score makes it also easier for you to determine your own chances of being approved for a particular credit application. If you know that you have a high FICO score, you can then try your best to maintain or even improve on it in order to increase your credit chances with a number of lenders.
Knowing that you have a low FICO score may also do you some good. This knowledge will motivate you to act upon improving your credit score in order to make yourself less of a credit risks to lenders the next time that you apply for another loan.

The Seriousness of Immigration Sponsorship
The Seriousness of Immigration Sponsorship
Copyright © Jose Love
It is no great shock when one gets into another country through illegal means. Illegal aliens have been present ever since, and it has always been an aspect for immigration centers world-wide to keep a keen look-out for such.
There is always a desire or need for someone to live in a foreign land – be it a business or personal reason. A number of ways have been offered in allowing this, from working visas, student visas, to tourist visas. One way that is also been practiced over the years is through immigration sponsorship.
Immigration sponsorship is when one person who resides in the desired foreign land backs up the immigrant candidate. This is usually done within families, like a son or daughter petition or through marriage. Whichever way, this type of sponsorship is not something that lightly taken, but considered to be a heavy responsibility.
Immigration application
Immigration fraud entitles one to severe penalties and should not be attempted at all. Once there is proof of fraud, this eradicates any chance for the person involved to ever become an immigrant.
Since a number of people have the desire to live in the United States, the immigration process stated is based on the form I-129F, the immigration sponsorship form. This form is used when someone in the US wants to sponsor their fiancé who is foreign-born to migrate to America.
The following parts of the I-129F are discussed below.
Information on sponsor’s biography – This part has questions that should be answered correctly, since it deals with basic but important information such as name, birth date, place of birth, address of the sponsor. It also asks whether the sponsor acquired his/her US citizenship through naturalization or birth, and inquires about any prior relationships that resulted in marriage and divorce or annulment. This inquiry is very important so that any anomalies may be settled and any suspicion on ‘convenient-marriage-for-citizenship’ may be put to rest.
Information of fiancé or sponsee – This part of the form is addressed to the sponsee, and potential immigrant. The questions asked is similar to that of the sponsor’s, only with added questions. These added questions include any prior US travels that the sponsee may have taken; and whether or not he/she is currently staying in America.
By sponsoring the fiancé, it is the sponsor’s responsibility to make sure all fields that require information on the immigration form be correctly filled.
Existing children – Another part of the I-129F is the inquiry on whether or not there are existing children for either party. The children may be between the sponsor and sponsee, or from a previous relationship by either party.
Any minor child between sponsor and sponsee usually allows that child the chance to accompany the sponsee when moving to America.
Crucial information
Crucial information that is always carefully looked over is whether the sponsor or sponsee are really a couple and that they have met prior to sponsorship. It is of the utmost importance that the two parties have met because this can be a major ground for immigration dismissal.
It may seem that the reigns on immigration sponsorship are too tight, but they are strict for good reason.
Immigration frauds through marriage have happened one too many times. These guidelines make sure that these illegal processes are not tolerated in any way.

700 & Above Is a Good Credit Score
700 & Above Is a Good Credit Score
Copyright © Jose Love
Isn’t it funny that who we are is based on numbers? The same goes when we apply for a loan and if you don’t want any problems, you should at least be 700 and above to have a good credit score.
But what is a credit score? It is an indicator which tells a creditor if you will be able to pay your debt should your loan be approved. Normally, the score is from 340 to 850 and if you don’t score that well, your loan by be disapproved or this will be granted as long as you accept to pay the high interest rate.
This is probably unfair given that you don’t have money already but it is a fact of life. It’s either you agree to their terms or you don’t get the much needed funds.
In the US, many Americans get a good credit score. This happens because they don’t spend beyond their means and pay their bills on time.
But for those who don’t score well, they have to find a way to make ends meet by cutting down on their expenses and paying these debts gradually. A good idea will be to talk to your creditor about the situation so they can come up with a payment plan so this will never appear on their permanent record. That is perhaps the smartest thing to do if you had a good credit score the year before.
If you have many credit cards, you should cancel the others and only keep two. You should keep the one that you have had the longest as this will look good on your credit score.
One mistake some people make especially when their credit history is less than 3 years old is opening a new account even when it is not necessary. You just have to think smart to see if it is worth the risk.
If your credit score is just a few points from 700, look at the document and see if everything stated there is correct. Who knows, you might get lucky and find out that there was an error made. You can call the credit agency to tell them about it and send the supporting documents so an investigation can be done and this matter can be
corrected.
To get a copy of your credit score, you can get in touch with one of these credit agencies namely Experian, Equifax or Transunion. Thought the scoring system they use is different from one another, it states the same thing so you know what it is. This changes yearly so get another one year and compare the results versus the year before.
A good credit score of 700 and above can get you low interest rates when you need to apply for a loan. With that money, you can buy a new house or car, pay for college tuition or renovate your home. If you want to get it, then you have to work for it as this number won’t appear out of thin air.
Being the consumer, you must know what your credit score is before you even think of asking for a loan. This will avoid you the embarrassment of being told that there are issues which will never happen if you have a good credit score.

Choosing The Best Baby Monitor For Your Family
Choosing The Best Baby Monitor For Your Family
Copyright © Jose Love
A baby monitor is a very useful device for modern parents. Such a device allows you to check on your child’s safety even when you are doing other things at a certain distance or outside the room. It not only saves you a lot of time and burden, but it also keeps you at ease knowing that your precious one is safe even at a distance. However, with the many different kinds of monitors available in the market at present sometimes it may get confusing. Knowing the different types of monitors and what to consider will surely help you in making a choice.
What are the types of baby monitors?
In selecting a monitor that best fits your family, you have three major options to choose from –an audio, video or a sensory monitor.
Audio monitors allow you to hear the activities of your child (ex: crying) as they pick up sound. This type comes in both analog as well as digital models. The analog monitors are the most affordable but are usually still reliable. They work through the radio frequency and use FM signals to transmit the sound. The major set-back of
this variety is the tendency of other receivers picking up the same signal that your monitor transmits, thus less privacy and disturbances are possible.
On the other hand, the digital model may cost a little more but it provides more privacy and usually has a wider range of reception than analog. Another advantage is that the digital models do not have as much static and they give a clearer sound quality so you can hear your baby better.
Video monitors allow you to see and hear your child by combining sound and video just like miniature TV sets. They use a small camera either mounted on the wall, table or crib to transmit the images into the LCD display. They are usually portable and come with multiple cameras and even night vision.
Sensory monitors detect the baby’s slightest movements even during sleep. It fits under the mattress of the baby and alarms you when the baby stops moving or is absolutely still for 20 seconds. Some models available also come with audio monitors installed. These come with a portable parent’s unit that sends you the alarm and allows you to hear your baby’s activities.
What are the things that you should consider?
Always remember, that in choosing the type of baby monitor for your family you must reflect on which model would best suit you and your baby’s needs. The size of your home, and the clarity of frequency are very important factors to consider. Simpler monitor models will do for smaller houses, but you may need a more sophisticated monitor system for a larger house.
The lifestyle and the type of work that you have to do around is also another important factor to consider, especially if your work requires you to be farther away from your baby’s room and you may need a monitor that covers the range, particularly a portable one.
Always remember that whether you would prefer an audio, video or sensory monitor, the clarity of sound and video of your unit should be of very good quality for you to effectively monitor your child. Whatever model you may choose, the most important aspects to consider is that your choice must certainly cater to your needs, fit your budget and most especially provide you with a good avenue to watch out for your baby’s safety.

Nursing As A Career
Nursing As A Career
Copyright © Jose Love
In the past, you will only see nurses working in the hospital. But because the nursing field has diversified, those who choose to enter this profession may find work in other places as well. Some examples of these are private clinics, government health care centers, residential homes, labs, private firms and schools.
One job you can get as a nurse is in pediatric home health care. Here, you are able to help parents prevent their children from getting sick by informing of them of potential threats as well as giving vaccinations. You also get to work with special children by helping them try to live a normal life even if there are hindrances.
The elderly are sometimes forgotten. The sad thing about it is that some of them are no longer able to do things on their own which is why it the youth like the nurses who are still strong may make a career caring for them.
You don’t have to be a licensed nurse to work here because even a nursing assistant can do the job. Some refer to such individuals as care givers. While some stay with the patient for a few hours, others stay with them full time.
If a hospital does not have the proper facilities to treat a patient, they will have to be moved to another hospital and that is where the job of a critical care transport nurse comes in. During the journey, their job is to make sure that there are no problems during the transfer. Some hospitals transfer patients using the ambulance while those that need quicker action will have to ride a helicopter.
Nurses sometimes take blood samples from the patient. But if you work in a blood donor center, you extract blood so this can be given to others who need it. You can have a career here if you specialized in phoresis. Those who have been doing this for a long time and have taken advanced studies will no longer be the one holding the needle and instead make sure that the center is functioning smoothly.
Accidents do happen in the workplace or even in an amusement park. This is why you have nurses on hand to help the patient until the paramedics arrive. This is what is known as on-site nurses.
For those who don’t want to be stuck in the hospital and want to travel at the same time, they can also make a career as a traveling nurse. Here, the person gets to work in one place on a contractual basis before working elsewhere. The best part is that you get free housing and sometimes a sign in bonus which isn’t that bad because
you will only spend money on personal expenses.
One study shows that this is expected to continue into 2014 and beyond as the baby boom generation will soon reach retirement age which means such individuals that will soon be moving into nursing homes will need more care. You should also consider the number of children and adults who get into accidents that will require therapy and
treatment so they may soon recover.
You can make a career out of nursing as more professionals will be needed in the coming years. So look for employment opportunities in the paper or in the web and if you qualify for the job, then make the most out of it.
